So the leading contender right now is the Ravens offensive Assistant James Urban. I believe he is their quarter back coach

Kind of an odd place to go for an OC unless you want a young QB who runs the RPO system then that is exactly the coach you want to pick up. Not saying that is all he knows but that is the system he is working under right now.

At the very least I like the idea of pulling guys from offenses that have a little flair to them. I am concerned about the heavy run emphasis from any Baltimore offensive coach but at least it feels unique.

I don't mind the idea of run heavy if it is because that is what your team is good at so you scheme for that. I would be upset if this guys idea of the perfect offense is RPO even if your qb is Matt Stafford. Listening to Campbell today if he hires the guy I believe they will build the offense for our team and not a team around our offense.

Seems Ken Dorsey may be a candidate for the OC position. I'd be on board with him. He's doing wonders with Allen in Buffalo over the last few years.

But what about Doug Pederson former philly head coach now a lot of reports are saying he may want to take a year off but what if they could entice him to come here to be basically the head coach of the offense.
Would love to bring him in, although leaving RPO decisions up to Stafford won't work

Does anyone remember him as the qb in Miami in the early 2000's man I thought he was going to be a great qb.

I do not know who to pull for here, Bevell was stolen to Jacksonville and now we HAVE to acquire an OC... Iím not hearing any names that seem like theyíll work with stafford. These OCís names sound like itís to prepare for a new younger QB.

Just bring in Kellen Moore. Bring back all the ol' Lions to bring us out of purgatory. Hell, can we sign him to coach/player? Trade Stafford and have Moore run the offense...?
