I don’t think trading Simmons is the answer. Going all in on Lowry gives the Sixers everything they want and everything they need. The elite defense gets even better in Philly with Lowry. So they can get the PG they need and keep Simmons to really take on the elite of the league.

I actually like this transaction which does help both teams and would agree to it in principle. Lillard is so much better than Ben I would give them another future 1st to sweeten their taste buds while Covington would replace Tobias and Thybulle as our big 3 and D like the good o' days [emoji2]

I almost thought of including Simmons, Harris, Thybulle, Milton, a first-rounder and either Maxey, Korkmaz, or another first-rounder.

I don't think so either, but this entire thread is people pulling trade ideas out of thin air — so here one is. I think Portland should consider this. They can make a clean break from a back court that isn't going anywhere in the west. We've seen this play out for several years. They're too small and defensively deficient to work together.

This trade really works out for both teams especially for Charlotte and New York gets their point guard...everyone is happy

Charlotte more or less becomes a playoff team especially with adding another All Star in Randle to pair up with Hayward, Rozier and Ball...Charlotte looks like a place to be

New York gets younger and they add an emerging star in De' Vonte Graham who gets a new change of scenery and better usage higher volume by being on the Knicks where he can have the ball in his hands and he can show everyone what he can do
