As much as I harp on him for the lack of effort he plays on defence, Kyrie's always struck me as a passionate person based on how he speaks. This is a total shot in the dark but I think he's just burnt out with how basketball is being run like a business. He's been active with community work off the court so it's not like the guy is a bad person.

I think for his mental health and safety he should retire. He likely has enough money to last him and his family/loved ones several lifetimes. He should just follow his true passions.

Not a bad person, no. Maybe he’s lost passion for the game like Shawn Michaels, he “lost his smile”

Nets should trade Kyrie for Blake Griffin or Al Horford straight up tomorrow. Include any 2nd round draft picks, overseas players draft rights and cash that the other team wants.

So glad I dont hve to deal with this dude anymore as a Cs fan. Spent so much energy initially defending him and saying he was misunderstood. Nah, the guy is a schmuck and a weirdo. I won’t be surprised if he’s done with basketball in a year or two.

So you're anti-Harden, but you're pro-Kyrie? I'll never understand your NBA takes, dude.
