I dont see that being nearly enough value for the #5 pick. Tyron is old and brittle at this point and Gallup is great with Cooper and Lamb playing opposite him. Now that we know the final numbers on Dak I do expect Gallup to be traded but I dont think his value will be this high.

Yeah Gallup will not fit in going forward IMO. If we don't restructure Cooper, maybe we roll with Lamb and Gallup but I'd rather just stick with Cooper tbh. Once we restructure his contract (which seems inevitable) we won't be able to cut him without big dead money.

So, Gallup will be the odd man out. It sucks, but we have Wilson who would be a very adequate #3 and can always draft someone too.

According to Sportrac if they cut Cooper this year he would count $28M in dead money. However if they cut him after the 2021 season his dead money number drops to $6M. They actually could cut him and resign Gallup if they want. Or if Cooper is still producing just keep him at the lower cap number and use that money elsewhere. They could either trade Gallup and get something now or they can just let him walk and be ok with a compensatory pick.

Daks cap number is $33M next season. With the way his contract is set up they could potentially clear a ton of cap space next season especially if they kept Cooper and allowed Gallup to walk.

    Cowboys 2021 Draft

If the Cowboys are not going to take a CB then this is the guy I want them to draft.

It if they do go with a CB at 10 I think this might be the guy. Dude is FAST and is a playmaker.

L.P. not coming back is ********. He was going to break Witten's record for games played and the Jones didn't want that to happen. Over paid for a replacement and L.P. never again NEVER had a bad snap in his career.

Hes been considering retirement. Hes one of the oldest players in the NFL. Hes been a great LS his whole career but he cant play forever.

It is stupid they dont want him to have Wittens record, but from a football standpoint I guess it makes sense if Fassel wants his guy. But LP never messed anything up.

See even though we need defense Im really leaning towards Rashawn Slater at 10. Even if he has to play Guard and only became half the player Larry Allen was hed be a great pick at 10.

I wouldn't mind it at all, especially since we resigned Jourdan Lewis. I still want CB, but if we go OL that's fine too.

Hopefully they don't listen to Jerry and draft Pitts. They need a CB or OT with there 1st. Sure it would be nice but Jarwin & Shultz will be fine at TE.

Yea the TEs on the roster already are adequate. We need defense or OL help. Pitts would be a huge waist, especially for what it would cost to move up to 4.
