My point is that this entire field of potential coaching candidates is very underwhelming. It's a crapshoot anyway. Pederson turned out to be the best of the 2016 hires, but was universally rated as the worst. Then add to this that the Eagles position isn't particularly inviting. So if Lurie ends up hiring some guy I have no idea if he will be a good HC or not, I'd rather hurt the Cowboys in the process.

You have a good point, not going to lie. Also I agree, the HC candidates this year are very underwhelming.

They better not pry Kellen from Dallas. He is our future head coach and it allows me to align my college fandom with my pro football fandom. If Kellen Moore coached in Philly I just don't know what I'd do. Have to drink myself to sleep everynight.

I’m not sure if he will be the future HC (it’s very possible) but I want him back because it keeps Dak in the same offensive system for his entire career up to this point. Yes, that means I expect they will bring Dak back.

I find it a little hard to believe that the guy who couldn't even choose his own coaching staff was the one deciding first round picks.

But also I think Reagor is getting a little too much hate. Sure, he'll always be compared to Justin Jefferson. But he did what he was actually drafted to do -- get open deep. Of course getting him the ball and he coming down with it are a work in progress.

No, the owners voted against that. Or not even brought it to a vote; I don't remember which one.

I think it's been covered here, but the Eagles are potentially the least desirable team in the entire league for a coach to go to. So I'm not sure they're really missing out on anything.

Honestly don’t know the rule. If interviewing your secondary coach for the head coach job satisfies the Rooney rule then hiring him should also be awarded. But again haven’t looked at the actual rule.
