What's more believable? A character assassination piece on a player that gets into a bad motorcycle accident and then shortly after that is accused of rape? Or a character assassination piece on a small town kid who enjoys the outdoors?

I actually expect him to be hired and I won’t be happy. I’ll watch and be open minded. But I won’t be happy. I know he’s good at the Xs and Os of football but for a coordinator that’s all you need

Ironically, he's going to a situation where if he traded away the franchise QB they'd probably be impressed rather than upset like when he dicked over Cutler.

I'm honestly surprised he isn't going for the Texans job since his buddy just got the GM position AND there's no expectations for keeping anyone. Like he could straight up trade Watson, JJ, and Tunsil for a fist-full of 1st round picks over the next couple years and build his team however he wants.

That said, he's an atrocious OC who's gotten by on having an elite QB/great surrounding talent for way too long. I get that the Pats are lacking in offensive talent and that makes things difficult, but I never thought I'd see a modern OC running the ball while trailing 25 points or refuse to throw deep when literally had the most accurate deep passer in 2020. Everything I hated about Mike Shula that I swore was not possible to replicate in the modern NFL was not only replicated, but arguable somehow made worse.
