Stafford is solid. Probably a top 15-20ish QB in the league. I doubt the Lions would trade him to the Bears though. Watson, Ryan, and Carr are probably still the most realistic trade options.

I'd take Darnold because he wouldn't leverage our future. He's bad enough that he can still get Nagy/Pace fired and if they can turn him into something then I might say they deserve to stick around. Almost a win-win situation.

Other thing to consider with Stafford is that the Lions probably draft a QB at 7. Means any move up is going to be even harder and more costly.

Yeah doubtful to me that they trade up for someone imo unless it's just a few spots. They will surely be looking for an experienced QB through trade or FA.

Give me one of those three non-stafford ideas and a Jamie Newman type prospect in the draft and I will be not unhappy.
    Screw sabermetics.

I know Stanford is a good QB, regardless Iím
Not helping the lions by giving them draft picks and Iím pretty sure they donít want to trade him to a division rival.

I just have a feeling weíre gonna end up with the most underwhelming option at QB, which would be the most Bears thing ever and not a surprise at all.
