Interesting but not really surprising that the Eagles fired Pederson.
    Screw sabermetics.

The Arob talks truly arenít even a debate. You simply donít let elite talent walk out the door unless you are getting draft picks back. Itís unfortunate for him they havenít signed him long term, but thereís no way you donít tag him and work out a long term deal or trade. You figure out the cap issues later.

Typically, before COVID causing issues with future payroll, etc., the guys that were FAís were ultimately signed to the largest deals, and then the next year or two, others surpass them. So if you are paying Arob, top 5-10 salary, well in a few years, heís gonna fall back to the top 15 range anyways because others will sign for more.

Thereís no argument Robinson isnít a top 15 WR or higher, and barring injury, heís still got a few years left before his decline starts.

Paying A-Rob a top 5 receiver contract now will make him a top 10-15 receiver contract in 2 years. He'll be worth it if we actually want to try and win.

I also use our 1st round pick on a Tackle or CB unless a QB you absolute love is there. You simply canít have enough high end CBís in todayís game. I also think if Fuller isnít moved in the next year or two, he fits as a better nickle back anyways.

The bears need to start doing what Pace preached years ago. Start drafting a QB each year until you actually find a franchise QB, which we have simply never had. Until that day, thereís no excuse to not draft one, but it doesnít have to be the first two rounds. Then you do what teams like the Patriots and Packers have done, you draft them to be groomed as replacements or trade chips every couple of years.

    Agreed.

They should sign him to a long term deal.

Contract is gonna be nothing a couple years down the road I'm sure

He hasn't been seriously hurt for a couple seasons iirc
His injuries are definitely concerning though I completely get not wanting him due to that
