Stafford is solid. Probably a top 15-20ish QB in the league. I doubt the Lions would trade him to the Bears though. Watson, Ryan, and Carr are probably still the most realistic trade options.

I'd take Darnold because he wouldn't leverage our future. He's bad enough that he can still get Nagy/Pace fired and if they can turn him into something then I might say they deserve to stick around. Almost a win-win situation.

Other thing to consider with Stafford is that the Lions probably draft a QB at 7. Means any move up is going to be even harder and more costly.

Not helping the lions by giving them draft picks and I’m pretty sure they don’t want to trade him to a division rival.

I just have a feeling we’re gonna end up with the most underwhelming option at QB, which would be the most Bears thing ever and not a surprise at all.
