Early polling is showing that for the first time in 4 years, people on the right are condemning Trump.

There will still be a lot of people defending this. You can see Fox news already in damage control mode. But losing even just 5% of your base will condemn your party to the gutters for the rest of eternity.

Yesterday was one of the worst days in American history. But the silver lining is the GOP will not survive this. The internet dwellers that don't live in reality will be back where they belong. Ignored. Irrelevant.

I'm truly excited. I hope a new CONSERVATIVE party emerges. There hasn't been one for well over half a century.

This will fade by February. There will be a new fight against the Dems as they control all houses and the GOP will unify again the minute Biden signs anything that they can spin as “socialist” or “commie”.

The GOP will change the format of their primary to avoid another Trumper run but they will subtly appease some districts overrun with his loonies.

The Tea Party was supposed to split the right. Progressives were supposed to split the left.

But there is always a common enemy and narrative to fight and bring Em back together. Unless you can show me at least 30 million people who are willing to vote for the same 3rd party over what we have.

The only hope for real change is an event that causes us to fight from bottom against the top, rather than left v right.

You’d think bailing out corporations while the working class starves, gets evicted and bankrupted would do it. You’d think people dying in a pandemic because they can’t risk the cost of healthcare would do it. But clearly there is no limit to what the ruling class can exploit for political gain or monetary profit.

We are a broken society and the cycle is a perfect circle with no immediate hope of breaking.

In two weeks, the negative image of the GOP will be gone and pushed aside. No one else in the party draws al that much attention.

The dems, on the other hand, have a slew of unlikeable characters that many in the country will not warm up to. Pelosi has no excused now. People hated her before and it will be interesting to see what she comes up with.

The dems are also the party of the squad……not everyone sees them as the darlings some of you might think they are. Mix in Wacky Maxine, Schiff, Nadler. Not too many likable people there.

Next time a copt shoots a black guy and everyone goes nuts…who do you think will get the blame for that???

When Harris replaces Pappy……how well do you think that will go over???

If Iran shoots at one of our ships……do you think will handle that???

If the dems pack the court or add states…that will not go over well

The repubs will overhaul and come up with some decent candidates in 2024. Good chance of a woman at the top of the ticket. The dems will counter with Harris (or if she falters The First Lady Forever herself). Nothing is guaranteed there.

The repubs are down but not out. They have a great chance to start from scratch by jettisoning Trump…a move most repubs will go along with as well as quite a few independents.

I would not write off the GOP.

1. You could be right. It might blow over. But if I'm a Republican right now, I'm worried. When we get more data we'll see the true

2. We're already seeing it though. People are abandoning ship. His entire cabinet is leaving. People are resigning. Changing course.

3. The squad are 6 representatives. And good luck using them as canon fodder for supporting BLM while you guys support a state takeover. Watch the police unions abandon ship. Go ahead and claim to be the party of law and order. While everyone watched video of a cop backing down while people walked up to him with crowbars a big smile on their faces. 4. This is Pelosi's last 2 years probably. She's all but announced it.

5. People have been claiming the president is gonna die of old age my entire life. They said it about Mccain. they said it about Bush Sr. They said it about Reagan. 6. Iran is waiting for Biden to take office so they can get back into the IRan deal. There's good reason they haven't actually attacked. Slugg, you may disagree with people and positions but it’s a Republican strategy to demonize individuals, particularly woman in authority so that no argument they make is evaluated. No, I am not going to engage with you in a defense of the characters of Pelosi or Clinton, or AOC ( who is not stupid in any way ) since the Republicans don’t scrutinize the moral quality of its members who lack more in many ways then those three woman. That is what Republicans do, demonize and label individuals since they don’t want to argue ideas. Name calling and labeling, I was a Republican who did that and boy is that stupid.
