Conforto has a career 125 wRC+ in 2500 PA while Lindor has a 118 wRC+ in 3500 PA. Lindor’s highest single season wRC+ was 130 while Conforto has eclipsed that mark three times.

Conforto, McNeil, and Nimmo are all definitely better hitters than Lindor.

As solely based on their hitting, you are correct, however, Lindor is a bigger power threat compared to all three and he is just entering his prime. And he is far more durable than the three.

I want the Mets to keep Lindor but don’t overpay him if you’re not willing to eat the cost down the line.

Personally I think he’s worth about 8/240 but I think 9/275 is a good compromise. 10 years is asking for trouble.
