You’re still trying to downplay it. There was more than one person who stole things, Pelosi’s aids computer was stolen off the desk and there is an investigation into it.

I KNOW this was already posted on here, so again, why are you still lying and downplaying this?

And all the whole the purpose of this was to disrupt the certification that would end Trumps hope’s. Just days after he told people to find him enough votes to overturn GA.

For some odd reason, the right likes to take over capitol building both state and federal. Might I suggest y'all next target? Fort Knox. Go see if the liberals have spent all the taxpayers' gold yet. The Gang of Four are driving expensive cars lately.

    This.

You gotta be lightweight stupid not to see it. They did what they did because they vocally had trumps blessing to do so. Can't wait to see their reaction once trump throws them under the bus to save his own stupid ***.

Seems like the styles are similar. Painting streets and buildings, autocratic, conspiracy theory-fueled, populist, anti-Democrat, anti-democratic, lower middle class, followers, undyling loyalty to the black cause, we've seen the attackers put their cause over the country, they believe in a nation of one cause, we've seen in in cities for months.

So are BLM members/followers a cult???

Why is one group better.worse than the other.
Whataboutism. The official way to reply by Trumpers when you can't defend what Trump either said or did.

One very important feature of a second impeachment is outlined in the following opinion piece from my local newspaper today.

At first I was unsure about impeachment again, but this changes my mind.

“If the House impeaches President Trump this week, the Senate has the power both to remove Trump from office and to prevent him from holding office in the future. That second power will not expire when his term ends, many constitutional scholars say. A Senate trial can happen after Jan. 20.

And disqualifying Trump from holding office again could alter the future of American politics.

It’s worth pausing for a moment to reflect on how radical a figure Trump is. He rejects basic foundations of American government that other presidents, from both parties, have accepted for decades....In the simplest terms, Trump seems to believe a president should be able to do whatever he wants. He does not appear to believe in the system of the government that the Constitution prescribes — a democratic republic.

Yet there is a significant chance he could win the presidency again, in 2024. He remains popular with many Republican voters, and the Electoral College currently gives a big advantage to Republicans. If he is not disqualified from future office, Trump could dominate the Republican Party and shape American politics for the next four years.

If he is disqualified, it’s impossible to know what would happen, but this much is clear: A singularly popular figure who rejects the basic tenets of American democracy would no longer be eligible to lead it.”

There was a significant chance a couple months ago.

I think at this point he's burned too much of the independent bridge. I don't think that idiot has a chance to win the presidency again. Definitely a republican king maker though.

I doubt if Trump would come close to getting the nomination in 2024. He is way too polarizing and people are tired of him. The loonies that all of you say is "Trumps base," while they exist, there are far fewer than you might think. Trump's "base" is much smaller than the BLM's "base"…but we all have to accept them.

And as far as not believing in "the system of the government that the Constitution prescribes — a democratic republic," ……aren't fair and honest elections part of " the system of the government that the Constitution prescribes?" Many believe that that didn't seem to happen in 2020. So by finding a reason to disbar him (for want of a better term), it would seem like the dems are the ones not really following the Constitution.

that is why I just gone done telling someone else they were right, valade16.

when I said what I did about looting, I was not aware of how much had happened. it was much worse than I knew of at the time, and I have come out and said it was wrong.

a bunch of idiots were going to overthrow the American government? do people not see how stupid it is to think this was possible.

what they wanted would have changed nothing.

hold them accountable for the rioting, call them domestic terrorists, but know what they wanted had no chance of happening.
