It's the media keeping him in the public consciousness. Just let him go.

He is the leading candidate to be the GOP nominee. He can't just be ignored.

They can't do that when they are addicted to the rating Trump pull for them. Oh, they tried for a while but then the rating dropped like a free-falling rock. Biden is boring and not as newsworthy as Trump, Kamala being an inept politician will have minimal exposure. So that leaves Trump the highly triggering media whore, who people love to hate or love. You just can't find a more polarizing media subject.

As am I. Unfortunately he is not. Apparently he is telling his dinner pals he plans to run again in 2024. That is unfortunate for DeSantis, who is a rising star but probably doesn't stand a chance of getting the nomination if Trump does decide to run.

This shows the major problem with the Republican party, they can't move forward without Trump's blessing and his radical supporters like the trumpsters, Qanon, Alt-right, and their fractions.

Actually, he is not. It is likely that DeSantis will have more support.
Just let Trump go and concentrate on helping solve the problems that the country faces. Trump is history.

Why must you make me picture Trump at a bar shouting "Last Call!"?

So ... I say the media is keeping him alive and you point to CNN? And CNN relies on a poll at CPAC which is the center of the crazy right politically to support their on going fear mongering.

Back in 2016 they admitted that their incessant coverage of Trump got him elected but they can't learn from it because he makes them money.
