Wentz in a nut shell:
Wasn’t as athletic/shifty but proves he wasn’t injury prone or soft.
Stubborn
Poor OL play
Lots of injury
Poor play calling - no commitment to run, too many verticals
2021 will be better.
Which is why I don’t agree with the theory
I have serious doubts wentz would self sabotage. He didn’t exactly come out smelling like roses in all of this
Stood to gain nothing
If he really hated doug the right play would’ve been to go out there toss 40 TDs and go to management and he like I don’t want to play for Doug
If wentz did sabotage on purpose then I want him outta philly. Get that **** off the team

Well I think you can rest confidently that that didn’t happen
In reality carson hasn’t improved since 2017. And issues surrounding him exposed that
He got by in 2019 on talent not on actual improvement.
Talent only takes you so far. I’m not calling him lazy. I actually just wonder if anyone has told him how bad his footwork and elbow are lol
Maybe that QB coach he’s using sucks
Mechanics have been an issue of his basically his entire career to be honest. It’s ****in weird. It’s like he believes he’s beyond the basics of the game so he doesn’t bother to even practice them. Crazy because the greatest players of all time in any sport usually practice the basics of the game because that is the foundation for everything that comes after.
The offseason before 2017 (his best year) he got lasik eye surgery and went out of his way to get a QB expert and practice mechanics on his throwing motion and footwork etc. Since then he’s seen QB experts but I just wonder if he’s not nearly as serious about it anymore because that one season he got incredibly big headed and maybe thinks he’s beyond these basic concepts which is inadvertently making his mechanics suffer big time.
If wentz did sabotage on purpose then I want him outta philly. Get that **** off the team
You know what would make me happy?
Trading Carson Wentz will make me really happy LOL.
