What would the Patriots need to do to get a top 5 or 10 pick

I believe they would be picking 15th? I’m not 100% sure but anyways if they wanted to get into the top 5 or even top 10 what would they need to do to trade up from they 15th to the top 10? I’m not saying they couldn’t or can’t land a good player at 15 but most are usually picked in the top 10. With the exception of Brady who was a one in a million pick.

I’m assuming the Pats need everything. Also assuming no trade up and they actually pick at 15.

TE Kyle Pitts would be a good pick at 15. There’s a chance EDGE Gregory Rousseau makes it to 15, he’d be a great pick. WR Devonte Freeman, DT Wyatt Davis, EDGE Kwity Paye, or QB Mac Jones could all be there at 15. If I were then I might try to acquire Matt Ryan (assuming ATL picks Freeman at 4), or Matt Stafford and then draft Kyle Pitts.

The Pats aren't trading up. If anything they'll trade back since they have so many holes and that's Bill's favorite thing to do. The only QB they'll have a shot at will be Jones/Trask and they'd be ****ing stupid to take either of them at #15.

Patriots are not gonna move up, let alone into that range. Assuming they keep the pick and don’t use it in trade, my guess is they have to take Pitts, Smith or Waddle (in that order). If those guys are off the board, I would assume they will trade back with the next target needing to be Jones / Trask......However knowing Belichick he’ll probably go CB with pk 15 and OL with the following pick in round 2........ he will get his quarterback in round 7, I can hear it now.......

QB has little value without supporting positions being filled. And it is best to fill QB last so they're on a cheap deal the longest.
