I always liked Ingram and would’ve open to bringing him in. Definitely an upgrade over Richard.

Plus Booker is a FA. They could keep Richard and run with Jacobs/Ingram/Richard.

Also it doesnt get talked about enough but Richard is an excellent pass blocking RB.

Late round/cheap RB's should be the norm....keep cycling them into the mix. Paying a back is crazy. Keep them plentiful, keep them cheap.

But I agree.. And I would be looking to move Jacobs after this year. I would not pay backs, Unless they are willing to make a good team friendly deal. I think Booker will come back for less money it will take to get Ingram in. Our running game really dropped off the second half of the season. Was it a RB issue or a OL issue.

I think Gruden is an easy puzzle to solve, his offense gets less dangerous as games and seasons wear on.

If I were a GM, I would never spend a first-round pick on RB, CB or WR.

... that's 3/5 first round picks Gruden used, BTW.

Agreed my guy,it's more of a luxury.We really haven't done a good job in the draft.5 first round picks and so far only one is doing very good.

That arnette pick to me is the most horrendous I've ever seen.We could of had an offensive tackle and we wouldn't be too worried about cutting trent loose but now if we get rid of him we have a huge hole there.

And don't get me started on how much we love to get rid of our 3rd round picks for free.

Glad to hear from you again stork.
If you have a great oline, it can make a bad rb look good. Rb is not a prime position anymore. All you need is a rb with vision and one that is a punisher.
