Some info on @Raiders and WR: being told a deal could be coming soon. One potential delay: Price might be dropping on some high-end guys so patience could pay off
Called it. Figured by Day 3 any big name WR that hadn't been signed would need to start rethinking salary demands. The good news is if the Raiders are only looking for a replacement for Agholor, well, that can be had for cheap. But if they're looking for a true #1 with all the sparkly loaded amenities, well, that's gonna cost. But wait a bit longer. The price will be right.

I'm still not completely sold that JuJu is the answer for us. AB is probably already writing the tweet, "You can have my sloppy seconds." lol

If Iím not mistaken, thereís juju, Galloday, fuller and Curtis samuel. Samuel is more of a gadget WR. And unless the rookies step up big time, I think we need a reliable receiver. I feel like Galloday and fuller are always hurt. So juju is our best bet, unless you go with AJ green or ty Hilton.

The older vets might not be a bad idea if they feel like mentoring our young WRs.

    I agree.

Iím not freaking out about our online.
We will be solid in four positions now.
    I see
    Lt Miller
    Lg incognito
C James (he will be a solid c. He is a little light but putting on weight. Heís at 305 last reported. Is very explosive. Plays with a chip on his shoulder. And has a very high football iq.)
    Rg Simpson solid
Rt ????? Hopefully Villanueva!!!!(if we get Villanueva we will be good for a couple of years. Durable. Former pro bowler who hasnít missed a game in over 5 years!).

So we still have what 20ish mill in cap depending on what Morrow got. Can free up 16 more by dropping Mariota, Richard and Heath.

We have holes at C, G, T, DT, FS, CB

Need impact players at DT, FS.
Need starter caliber player T, CB
Need Vets or capable players at C, G, WR, RB and LB

FS and CB really need to be FA
DT and T likely top 2 in draft

C, G, WR and LB mix of FA and draft.

Not sure we have the cap space to swing this unless we get some bargains. Really get the feeling we blow a lot on a WR. Would be very Gruden.

    What the fljhujjkm,&:$;@/!

Great now we get to see morrow get ran over by Chubb, then Ezekiel, then Taylor, then Clyde a couple times, and then every rb who runs at him through a hole. I get tired of him making a good read and stand flatfooted and get ran over or get drug a few yards. We face a lot of good rbs this year. They will run right at him and Littleton. Kwaitkoski is the only one that can stop the run.

    Sh)&( f);&/)

So mayock praised how great cle was as a passrushing de. Praises maxx as a passrushing de. Then brings in another de. Ok

We let go of four great olinemen, our number one wr, our very good backup rb annnd then we keep an 11 mil backup qb, thatís 6 key players on o. Then sign a lb who canít stop the run. Maybe morrow can play rt?

They keep spinning it as Morrow was our best LB. But it wouldn't be the first time our best anything was some other teams 3rd or 4th player on the depth chart.

You guys are too quick to panic. Incognito will return as will Good. Gabe isnít even gone yet. Our back up center is good, not Hudson good Iím sure but good. Long May be back just seeing whatís out there. Swinging for the fences in FA kills us every year. Now they are trying too get those better deals by being patient and everyone is losing their minds. They said day 3 was when it really will start for us, and there are plenty of really good players left to be had. So wait until tomorrow before you lose it, they may just surprise you.

This regime hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt. Just the opposite. I don't mind being patient in FA, I do mind the franchise being run in a dysfunctional manner. I do mind consistent collapses. I do mind losing.

    Something stinks in this organization.

I understand what you are saying but there are too many unknown variables in what you are implying.
    1. If Long does come back and signs
    2. If James will hold up for the majority of the season. (I understand that this is a game of risks).Hudson was a warrior who played (exceptionally well) through pain.
    3. If we are able to draft O-Line replacements or get quality in FA and the fact that we needed that 12 mil from Hudson's contract.
But once again the only vested interest I have is 45 years of being a Raiders fan and all of the memorabilia that I could buy.

Im moving to Wisconsin and this franchise is going to make me become a closet fan.

In the 36 yrs i've been a Raiders fan I can remember 1 superbowl apperance(loss) and 8 playoff appearances. Is that correct?

That really puts this Franchise in perspective. You'd think someone would want to turn that around.

8 good yrs in the last 36 yrs.

    Wow! Just smh.

I actually love how theyíre approaching FA this offseason but what they have done with the offensive line and more specifically, how they handled the Hudson ordeal, is just mind boggling.
