    Is Bradley a "buddy" or just the best candidate?

    Thus far, Bradley and Morris are the only "real" names I've heard that I'm okay with.

    Apparently Bradley was with Jon in Tampa. Started as a defensive assistant in 2004 and then was the linebackers coach in 2006 when Jon got fired so there is history.

    That said he has been a successful as a DC in the NFL so I would be happy with the hire if it happens.

    IMO Gus Bradley would be a great get and my top choice of those named so far. He has consistently had great defenses in Seattle (legion of boom), Jaguars when he was head coach the defense there was always really good, and Chargers were really good under Bradley as well.

    I must admit if Gruden hires Joe Barry I may not watch any games next year. Joe Barry's defense as DC in Washington wasn't very good. This would be the second time he hired a DC that worked with his brother Jay. Guenther worked with Jay in Cincinnati and Barry was his DC while the HC in Washington.
