Deshaun Watson only had two good seasons since he's been in the League. You all shipped Ryan Tannehill to the Titans that had a decent offense with a good running back you all have not learned your lesson yet.

If they make this trade and it works out I'll be the first one to come in here and say I was wrong. If you all a wrong, I expect y'all to come in here and say maybe we should have given Tua just a little more time.

I have no problem giving Tua 2 more years to prove himself and I have no problem trading for Watson. I also have no problem with the stats you posted. Adding Watson to this roster and solid defense would make us a definite playoff contender and a fringe AFC Champ contender. Watson is a top 5 QB in the league and there is no debating that. I love watching Bama and root for them and I love Tua but he ain't Watson.

If They're going to trade Tua here is a scenario that I think would help.

MattRyan and Julio Jones for Tua and the Dolphins 18pick than Dolphins get Kyle Trask or Mac Jones Groom them 1-3 years.

You are absolutely right in that your entitled to your own opinion but I feel you are wrong about Watson. He's really coming into his own and looks like a legit franchise qb. He's looking what you could only hope Tua or Lawrence becomes, threw for most yards this season and had very little to work with. I'm also tired of everyone thinking Lawrence is automatically a future stud. Better prospects have busted.... He looks great and legit, no question, but let's slow down on the guy going to the hall of Fame before taking a snap.

As for Tua, I think he's going to be fine and anyone who wants to give up on him this early is ridiculous. There's a long road yet on if Herbert or Tua will have a better career, but Herbert is ahead after the first lap. I find people's impatience and lack of foresight amusing, like everyone forgets Mayfield, Allen and even Peyton Manning were not very good their rookie season. Tua, by comparison, played exceptional and coming off a major injury. That said, I don't see why you wouldn't want to trade someone who's still a wild card in Tua, for someone who's a sure thing in Watson. That's all anyone I've seen arguing here.

Watson is one of the best qbs in the league.

He carries a team as much as any player in the nfl is asked to. With our defense behind him, Watson puts us in super bowl conversations from day 1.

Watson does magical things at that qb position.

I would put Watson in my top 5. I think he should be in everyone's top 8 at the absolute minimum. With all that said, Im still planting my flag on the side that keeps Tua and builds around him. Wouldnt be upset with getting Watson or think its the "wrong move" but I would really like to build this team the right way and with the resources we have right now we could take another big leap forward as a franchise this season and also continue to stay ahead of the game(by trading back in draft, trading players) and continue to have an abundance of resources yearly and build this thing for longevity

At minimum, Watson is better than at least 4 of those quarterbacks. This isn't really debatable.

Due to his age and additional upside, there's an argument he's in the top 4 or top 5, at worst. No one is saying Watson is Tom Brady but if your are interesting in competing the next 7-10 years with a QB, it's probably not going to be Tom Brady (but who knows with that ****er lol).
