At least the Hawks D and goalie situations are very consistent.

Giving up 5 goals each game. Lol

Looking at the last game, they came out fairly strong, but that no goal call was a killer. The whole momentum for this team was pretty much gone. But it needs to be a learning point for these young guys will need to learn to be resilient that was one of the things that make the Cup-winning teams so go.

Delia has shown flashes but needs to play a complete game. I don't see him as a future starter, but he could grow into a really solid second option. He's looked good in the 1st period, but then not so much the next two. But the defense only allowed 29 shots his way and he still let 5 by. Both netminders have looked pretty bad. They've both had very narrow moments of competence. The blueliners have lacked a lot of awareness.

They consistently are looking like 90% of this team should still be playing at a lower level. Even in this, there have been some promising sports. DeBrincat seems to be playing well, Storme has had a few flashed. Pius Suter has looked promising as well. I would pair him more often with Kane. Ian Mitchell is showing some promise as well. All has not been a loss, but we will see how this team looks mid-season. How they look from there and to the second half of the season will tell the value of this season regardless of record.

Part of the problem isn't all on the team it seems some of this is on Collition too I don't get the usage of Kubalik? Why is he not getting looks on the PP? They're doing Adam Boqvist no favors by keeping him out there. He's just not ready for the NHL yet, still a ton of potential there. A lot of players are playing poorly, but not all of them have Boqvist's potential. It doesn't seem like there are a ton of players buying into Collition as a coach.

Yesterday's game was actually a promising bout. I was really impressed by Lankinen. Lankinen played decently well made a number of big saves. He looked really blocker stop on a 2-on-1 break in overtime. The 5 goals hurt but looked like an NHL netminder. I would honestly give him the most looks off the small sample size we have seen this year. Boqvist had his best game. Kubalik looked solid. The offense showed. Hard loss, but a good growing game. Last night is the things we need to see from this roster. This season is not so much about the W-L or pts column. Hopefully, they build on that game. After being deflated the game before they bounced back and actually briefly had a lead. Several developing bright spots on this roster in what may be a long season. Hopefully, the lottery will fall in the Hawks' favor.

A lot of talented blueliners near the top of the draft. Some interesting forwards, it's going to be an interesting draft with ongoing COVID protocols. Really the rankings are all over for most places I've seen. Could be a case to look at Jesper Wallstedt the top goalie in this class.

Was a decent effort on their part. Really good game from Lankinen. A really positive sign from this team. Always nice to see a Hawks win vs. Detroit.

Another solid game. Nice to see some pucks go in for Pius Suter. Some of the younger guys have looked solid in this two game set.

Nice 2 games vs Red Wings, even though they’re just as bad as us.

Let’s hope they keep the momentum going these next few games

The Predators should be a good test they're not the Lightning and I'd say a touch behind Florida. Frankly we should have split with the Panthers. To get a split with Nashville would be a good look. Columbus a team we should compete against if not have a chance to win. Should be interesting to see this team.

You know there will be games the opponet will mop the floor with us. Though Detroit is in a similar spot beating teams we have a chance to beat is a good sign. Both games with a little authority too.

Another promising showing vs. Nashville, but this group needs to learn resiliency if they are going to develop into contenders down the road. Subban had a much better outing last night. Good, they got the point, but as the second Florida game, these are games they will need to win if they are going to be successful. They may be contending, but learning that grit is what made those cup teams so great. Hopefully, they learn this mentality over the course of this season.
