How the heck are you possibly knocking this front office?

They literally took a dumpster fire franchise and in one season got us into the playoffs with home court advantage.

They hired the NBA coach of the year, got the biggest steal in the draft in Quickley, hit on every free agent they signed besides Austin Rivers (who they traded away for assets anyway), traded for D-Rose, developed Randle into a star and RJ into a rising star.

This franchise hasn't been in a better spot since the 90s, and you're complaining?

A lot of what they're judged on will come this offseason, and the next few years, but they're off to an amazing start.

He made 2 pull-up 3s per game shooting 35% on those this season. Obviously your FG% is gonna be low if youre shooting 8+ 3s per game. Hes had knee issues, but hes been good when on the court. His defense is not close to being worst in the league cmon.

He doesnt have the same quickness and burst. Hes just not good anymore. Hes not a winning player, hes just a terrible performer in big time games. Always has been. Hes a god awful defender, not sure what you watch to say hes not. Maybe worst defender in the league was an exaggeration but its not that far fetched. Hes just bad. His knee issues are a huge concern, hes had multiple surgeries year after year, he cant play every game. Hes super overpaid. It would be a nightmare to have him even if its just for two years. Rather see what Luca IQ and Rose can do at more than 20 million a year less. Theyll produce a ton better than he will for the half the season hes healthy.

The Front Office had NOTHING to do with changing this dumpster fire of a roster into a Playoff contender. Get on your knees and thank NBA Coach of the Year and PLEASE address him as "Mister" Thibs, sir.

David Fizdale whose face looks like a giant dick with someone stenciling facial hair and glasses talked about coming in and changing the culture in New York. Rachel Nichols on the Jump had him as a guest after he was "humiliated" in Memphis. Lebron and Wade talked him up. He was an absolute disaster. No wonder Marc Gasol went to management and said, "Enough."

Fixdale said he was going to turn Mudiay around. Didn't work. He's not even in the league anymore. Perry traded for Dennis Smith Jr. Fail. The Pistons are going to let him go.

Thibs gets hired. Jalen Rose who was famous for calling Grant Hill, a house N-bomb, goes on a tirade on ESPN about giving Thibs a sizable contract due to the color of his skin. He's not wrong but apparently Jalen hasn't paid attention to Thibs' pedigree.

The ONLY move I give this Front Office credit is coming to their senses and hiring Thibs. Obi Toppin and Immanuel Quickley is wait and see. Thibs had Leon Rose FORCE Aller and Perry to trade for Derrick Rose. The GM position has to change. These "assets" are nice but flawed components that wouldn't be starting in Championship contending teams except for Julius Randle and RJ Barrett.

They didn't develop Randle get out of here with this stupidity also player work out on there own FO have nothing to do with it. FO should be judged on talent they gather and it's obvious every one in NBA agrees that thibs took a bargain bin roster to playoffs.

Lmao thibs does all the hard work but this fanbase bashed him all year long and same ppl saying Knicks FO is brilliant for what? Hiring right coach? Or not getting Elf replacement at deadline and decided to not spend 16mil at deadline which went to Dolans pocket but yea Knicks FO is brilliant once they spend all cap space we will head for mediocrity maybe Dolan will give them extension for just making playoffs.

Knicks should make a play for Gobert and include Mitch. It would be a good cost effective replacement for Gobert and gain them additional assets to continue to build a contender.

Gobert for Mitch, Knox, Picks and cap space.

Gobert is locked in long term. Would be a good fit in NY next to Randle. Would solidify our front court for a long time and a strong run.

I think this would be a good deal on both sides.

Utah would gain draft assets, some youth, ability to use a trade exception or easily resign Conley for another 2 years.

Gordon Heyward may be on the trade market I read. If so would you trade for him and if so what would you give ?
