The 2020-2021 Philadelphia 76ers IGT: Doc Rivers To The Rescue

As I did last year, it's that time to start a new year new IGT for the 2020-2021 76ers season. The 76ers start the new season at home against Washington. I love the Doc Rivers hire. Lets get this season started. Can't wait. Lets go Sixers!!

    Yankees, Eagles, Sixers, NYRangers

After last season i didnt expect to care much this year. After hiring Doc that didnt change, either. But, he built a great staff and then Morey came on and made the necessary changes for this team to succeed around Embiid and Simmons and I couldnt be happier. Im not too concerned about chemistry issues like last year bcuz shooters shoot and Green and Curry should have no issues getting comfortable very fast. Im all in on Embiid in the MVP race, Simmons in the DPOY race, and Shake in the 6MOY race. Obviously, these are extreme expectations but i do think they are doable.

Random, but it's kinda funny that so many people hated BB for saying this when certain guys struggled and now it's used to make things ok.

i think last year was different. no one in the starting 5 really complimented each other and it was such a different team from the year prior when we could easily plug in the shooters and go and as we saw it worked. Lots of injuries last year too messing things up.

Would anyone else be up for Harris+ for Otto Porter?

Would the Bulls consider a Harris+Thybulle+ a 1st for LaVine and Markkanen?

Markkanen will be a free agent at the end of season.

Why not....Harris is the best of those players mentioned by far and tossing a 1st round pick for no good reason. Bulls would jump on it unless they or you really fancy Lavine [emoji1751]

Sixers wouldn't. Harris is one of the best forwards in the East. If Carter was included instead of Markkanen and no pick, I may consider this transaction.

    Curry
    LaVine
Simmons- point forward who can guard opponent best player
    Markkanen
    Embiid

    That's a championship caliber starting 5.

Sounds like Shake and Korkmaz as second unit backcourt. Thybulle playing the 3. Maxey mixing in a bit with them but not expected too much.
