The safety is 8 yards behind Goedert lol.
While saying this, I still agree it’s on Wentz.
Omg dude watch the play again. I'll say it again because you must not have read it the first time. Goedert was running an option route... Meaning he reads the coverage and either runs a streak or a curl route. He saw Diggs cheating that way and knew he had to run a curl.... He was right. Wentz did not think Diggs was going to cheat over that far since he was the only deep safety in charge of helping out on any deep throw for the whole field. Wentz threw the ball assuming that Goedert was running the streak and threw it outside more because he assumed that Diggs would be more in the center of the field. Diggs played Wentz.Yeah because he assumed Goedert was running a streak. There's not a single curl route that runs that deep at any level of football lol

1 rollout for Wentz against Cleveland - 2 rush attempts for Miles Sanders in 2nd half.
1 rollout for Wentz against Seattle - 8 total touches for Miles Sanders.
Again, we can acknowledge bad QB play from Wentz - but what in the hell is Doug Pederson’s plan, exactly ?

That's not a catchable pass no matter what direction he turns...
Alternative theory: Maybe Wentz hasn't lost his heart but is holding a grudge. Roseman got rid of his BFF Jordan Matthews and will likely get rid of his other friend Ertz next. There are a few others as well, that likely weren't even bad decisions, yet our WR corps still stinks. Howie drafted Hurts. He failed to draft any good weapons since 2016 except Sanders. For this one year, Roseman has less job security than Wentz.
