Apparently this means the tendons in his foot/ankle are weakened to a degree that he now has a flat foot.

I hope he can recover from it.

Man.. I feel like the eagles do this a lot, play injured players before they should come back and then it just makes things worse.

I saw somewhere that supposedly Travis kelce had the same surgery a few years ago that lane Johnson is getting on his ankle. Obviously there’s different degrees of severity and everything (and I’m not a medical expert) but I think he’ll be fine.
