Moving Memphis and New Orleans to the East while Seattle and Vancouver end up in the West...I would be okay with that

Agreed drop it down to 25 teams, 5 divisions of 5 and rid the league of conferences. Top w.e number of teams make the playoffs

So a 2 hour time difference is why one team survived and one team didnít? Also why did you round up to 4 hours for Toronto but down to 2 hours for Vancouver?

Obviously Seattle/Vancouver. But Montreal is an underrated option. It's a city (+ surrounding area) of like 4 million people, so the potential market makes it pretty big.

But as far as teams that make the most sense for expansion as far as expanding from 30 to 32

Eastern Conference (16th team in conference)- Montreal
Western Conference (16th team in conference)- Las Vegas

16 teams in each Conference; alignment is pretty balance

Montreal as the 31st team enter rivalry or cue rivalry with Toronto...battle of Canada

Vegas with them in the West they are close in geography with LA and Phoenix...so Vegas could have a rivalry with either LA team Clippers or Lakers or with Suns

Or if you wanna keep it strictly US cities

Seattle as the 31st team they go into the Western Conference

Pittsburgh goes into the Eastern Conference as the 32nd team

    Eastern Conference- Tampa Bay
    Western Conference- Seattle

Tampa Bay as the 31st team is aligned into the Eastern Conference and it makes sense. Why? Because Miami is also in Florida and Miami is not a Western Conference team even if they are on the West coast. They are in the East so why not have Tampa in the East too? It works in the NHL since Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers are in the East in the NHL. So a Tampa Bay NBA expansion franchise could be set up in the East too. You would have an instant rivalry with Miami Heat and Orlando Magic.

Seattle as the 32nd team...they are aligned into the Western Conference.

My perfect team names for these franchises:

    Tampa Bay Hurricanes
Seattle Supersonics (back in the NBA)

    I don't buy it.

There is more talent to find and develop, the problem is that rosters are too small.

Every team should have 20 roster spots so the raw talent can be properly developed.

Huh? Seattle and Vancouver would both obviously be in the western conference. Then move teams like New Orleans and Minnesota to the east.

    1- Seattle
    2- Tampa Bay
    3- St. Louis
    4- Nashville
    5- Montreal
    6- Vancouver
    7- Kansas City
    8- Pittsburgh
    9- Baltimore
    10- San Diego

The 2 cities that should get a team: Seattle and Tampa Bay
Move Vancouver up above all those depressed, shrinking midwestern cities.

Seattle, Vancouver because they lost their teams.

That said, San Diego, San Jose, Jacksonville are the largest cities without teams ... the issue is most of the largest cities without a team are western.

So, Seattle and Vancouver join the west, Jacksonville and Nahville join the east.

Add the first 2, wait 5 years, add the 2nd 2 teams.

Each team can protect 7 players in the 6 round expansion drafts.

Then as far as your cities I would only go with Seattle and Jacksonville

Iíd be all for that. Plus it would mean a deeper talent pool.

I would love to see the Seattle SuperSonics back in the NBA though.
