Never heard of this guy, but he does have a good opportunity given the roster construction.

We just signed Dequan Jeffries to a contract. I think he was a two way player last year. Given our lack of depth on the wing, I think he’ll probably crack the rotation.

I am thinking their has to be something more to this story like Metu didn't want to be a 2 way player unless the Kings are saving that 2 way player for someone else.
