I dig it man. Would love it if this is what happens. Two high picks to shore up our greatest weaknesses and getting Hooker would be an absolute steal in my book.

Hooker is at the top of my wish list. Since Spielman is likely going to have limited cap space to use on FA's I'm hoping for goes for a few high risk/high upside signings. Hooker is exactly that. The talent is there but he can just never stay healthy. His price tag should be pretty low. A 1 year prove it deal would be perfect for both sides. Plus there are a few pretty good safeties on the market this year so he might fly under the radar.

Thanks for the reports Paco. I usually buy Jordan Reid's scouting reports so I'll post some of those later when he puts it out. I know he's part of the draft network now but I think he still does his own, too. Barmore sounds intriguing and I think getting our defense back in the top 5 should be the priority this offseason.

I knew it was bad but never realized it was quite this bad:

    2014: 72.4 (23rd)
    2015: 67.9 (28th)
    2016: 64.7 (30th)
    2017: 71.9 (17th)
    2018: 63.6 (27th)
    2019: 63.0 (27th)
    2020: 55.5 (29th)

One mediocre year in seven is horrible.

I think we need to sign a veteran guard with excellent pass protecting skills and also find one early in the draft. This team has so many needs right now that we will have to hit on all of the early draft picks and also make a few splashes in free agency. We can't address all these needs just through the draft.

So here's something that shocked me. Ifeadi Odenigbo was near the top of the league in double teams. He's in the same group as guys like Chase Young, Bradley Chubb, and Brandon Graham. Might explain why he didn't get much pressure on the QB this year.

Without any big shakeups I think this is a pretty nice offseason for us, really like the first two picks if they are as good as some say.

I, like last offseason, am more of a let's shake it up and move on from Cousins type but my guess is we don't go that route and if not something like the above is how I would like to see things go. Not sure where the QB's in the draft end up going but I think there are a couple intriguing options and I like Fields enough to move up if possible too. I personally think we are kinda maxed out at a playoff team that might win a game with Kirk/our limited cap but I could at least get excited for a roster like you show above next season.

Makes sense, since he was the only one that teams were likely somewhat concerned in regards to pass rush. You add Hunter back and Pierce and that will allow the other guys to get more single blocking. They could excel again but I still want to see Paye in purple.

This would be an ideal off season. Don't lose much but add some key piece fill ins with potential long term replacements. I would not be mad at all with this lol

I want to see more of Paye. I watched his film against the Gophers and outside of a few plays late in the game when Michigan was up big, Paye didn't really impress me. It's obvious he's a good athlete but I don't think he's a top 10 pick.

I'm really torn because Rousseau is said to have an extremely high ceiling. I'm really open to just about anything at 14 to be honest. I'd be open to Barmore there as well. Someone recently said that some teams have Slater higher then the Oregon dude who some say isn't a for sure lock as a prospect.

If we hit up either of the lines or hell I'll be stoked.

I'd love to see Kyle Pitts.......but if this past season showed us ANYthing, it showed us our D can't approach what we were even 2 years ago without a better pass rush.......tho it is a head scratcher to find out Ifeadi was double teamed so much
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

I've been seeing the same about Slater. Not sure if he's better than Sewell but I'm not surprised to see teams are high on Slater. He's impressive.

Right now if I had to pick a player to draft at 14 it would be Barmore. Super talented with a high ceiling. His upside is probably on par or close to Paye and Rousseau. The Vikings have had success for years finding edge talent in the middle rounds so I'm fine with waiting there. 3T has been different. We desperately need some interior pressure.

As much as I want to upgrade the iOL, we were still a top 5 offense. For sure some changes still need to happen there but I agree give me Barmore.

As an IA fan Daviyon Nixon surprised the hell out of me this year. I have not read too much to see where he is expected to go outside of Mel Kiper who has him like top 10. That might be a bit too much and a bit of an over reaction.
