    Alderson will head baseball operations

    He will hire a GM

    Rojas will stay manager.

I think they have their eyes set on Theo when he is ready to come back.

Agreed. But am curious if Sandy then gets like 1% of company as if they hire Theo, Sandy is gone.

He won’t be gone, just mostly in the background but it will be Theo who makes most of the baseball decisions if he were to be hired.

Look at Sandy's role to be that of Saul Katz who was the titular President and CEO of the Mets. Jeffy was trying to be the Chief Operating Officer. That role will go to Theo Epstein or someone like that. Then the GM will be someone like Carlos Beltran, lol.

They wanted Chernoff, but he had family issue.

If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumé

This is good to hear while the FO is in transition.

Is John Ricco still with the Mets? Just curious.

Yes, He will be Sandy's right hand man in operations this year moving forward.

The interesting part of this situation is that Sandy and Steve are willing to wait until they get the person they want and won't settle for anything less.

No more Bay instead of Holliday.

No more learning on the job.
