If you look at the data their infection rate cratered for months then it shot up crazy high.

That at first it was just the flu, to just do minimal mitigations like Sweden and hope for herd immunity, to well there’s nothing we can do with no vaccines so who cares about mitigation. Smh. Disappointed broncs.

Just out of curiosity, do you actually think there is mitigation of a new flu virus without a vaccine and therapeutics?

And your point is precisely what? Sweden was doing just fine all summer. Their surge only started recently. They never locked down at all. Why did the surge wait until now to hit?
As to the statement "no medication works", you are incorrect. No medication works every time. Remdesivir works for some people. Hydroxychloroquine works for some people (the Detroit study which was peer reviewed shows that). Dextromethasone works for some. They all have different mechanisms of action against the virus. All are proper in some cases, not in others.
The reason we are Covid free is because we have all done our jobs properly. We follow isolation procedures and are careful not to bring the virus in. We limit our exposures, although I really can't do that as an EMT. If I am called to a Covid case, all I can do is use my PPE properly (which I always do) and be very careful what I do pre and post call. Sanitation is the key in EMS. We need to be sure the rig is clean and ready for the next call.

My point? Well I said of course lockdowns work, this isnt up.for debate, look at every single graph of every single city in america. Lockdowns work.

As I said, Sweden was doing fine all summer. Their case rate is still the lowest in Europe. They never locked anything down.

In economics we have 'the law of diminishing returns' ....and it most DEFINITELY applies to pandemic response
I don't know exactly what that point is, but at SOME point, the negative effects of pandemic responses begin to outweigh the positive.

If one state locks more things down and costs more jobs, businesses, and economic distress than a state that doesn't....yet the end result is similar pandemic stats....which state did the better job?
