I've said from the beginning that I didn't want to be in the very first batch of vaccinated people (or as I called them: beta testers). For better or worse, that wasn't even a choice and months later I still don't have the option to be vaccinated.

At this point, I just have to exercise patience and continue being smart about my social interactions.
How far away are you would you project?
Obviously SD is much less in population, but states supposedly get vaccines according to population. SD got to people with underlying conditions under 65 on March 3, but were already into the next group (teachers, staff, funeral workers) by the time I got my 1st shot on the 11th. But, we're also now over 30% vaccinated, ahead of the national pace, and far as I can tell it should be opening up to everybody maybe even next week, certainly by April 1.
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

I would guess my window to be vaccinated will be sometime between the middle of April and the middle of May.

Good. No one needs to get Covid. I hope you have no side effects.

Michigan will be making vaccines available to everyone 16 and above in April. I'm glad to hear it and finally get the damn shot.

....says the guy that threatened me with poor treatment from his fellow nurses across the nation because I dared question some of his stances about the pandemic.

This is what happens when someone tries to be reasonable with trolls. I guess I should know better.

Good. Glad to see this. There will be a few more vaccines that gain approval relatively soon.

The video is about 6 minutes long and is basically an admonition to get vaccinated.

Got my first shot Wednesday (Pfizer) and outside of a sore arm I typically feel after any shot, I felt fine. My mom and grandmother both got their second shot yesterday and thus far no negative side effects.

Good. The more people that get vaccinated, the better. We might get back to "normal" life sometime this year.
