Hawks started with 44m of cap space. Rondo signed for 7.5 per year, Gallo for 20.3, per year. Those are backloaded I’m sure so reduce the year 1 number by a bit. Dunn’s deal fits into the room exception so can be signed after using cap.

That leaves enough room for this assuming it’s backloaded.

What is “high” on them exactly? I think they lack a real #2 player and the overall fit of guys is too offense heavy to ever really be anything. But I think they’ve collected enough talent to push for playoffs and take ORLs spot.

I’ve seen some “push for the 5 seed” comments out there and “best off-season in the East”. I think they are an 8th seed and gentleman’s sweep in round one.

I like this this signing for the Hawks. Definitely makes them legit with the Gallinari signing also. My question is the Hawks have plenty of wing players. I assume Bogdanovic plays the 3 and Gallinari the 4. Are the Hawks gonna make a trade to move someone?

Sacramento has 48 hours to match the offer for Bogdanovic (4/72M). My guess is that IF they match the Kings are more incline to move Hield. IF I'm Morey and the 76ers I would be interested.

Well, Bucks, Celtics, Heat, Raptors, Nets, 76ers, Pacers. Are an almost lock to make the playoffs. 1 of the 7 may fall out due to injuries or something.

With the last spot (maybe 2) being fought for by Hawks, Hornets, Pistons, Magic, Wizards and Bulls.
