Lousivlle and Nashville are pretty close, they just lost out to Tampa. Which like I said before, Raptors had their bubble restart camp in Ft Myers, so makes sense.

I mean Buffalo was barely in consideration. The others werenít. Itís clear the NBA wanted to use this as a chance to explore where to add teams.

I was hoping they would go to a team that was a potential expansion location. But Tampa works.

They'll probably have a token of appreciation for Tampa, but the Raptors jerseys say "Raptors" on them. It seems to be a temporary measure anyway at least for the 1st half. NBA probably lists them as "Toronto/Tampa Raptors."

It really helps how similar our team colours are to the Bucs.

I'm sure all the Tampa teams will do some interactions with the Raptors so could definitely see Bucs-Raps publicity stunts. Superbowl is in Tampa too this year.

Tampa is in good shape considering they'll have the 2020 NHL champs in Lightning, Superbowl LV champs in Bucs, 2020 WS runner up in Rays and 2021 NBA champs in Raptors.

No. It's the Tampa Bay Raptors. Just like their baseball counterpart was the Buffalo Blue Jays.

Did you seriously compare a globally iconic city like Toronto to some depressed dump in the Midwest or South?
