Well no one is going to trade us a 3 million expiring contract and give us a couple of unprotected first to take it. If u want multiple first u will need to take a bad contract. Unless you do not want to go that route and just sign DJ Augustin

The CP3 contract was deemed the worst ever, we refused to take him for free last year. OKC took him, got a bunch of picks, and he played well in a featured role and they flipped him for picks. You would have thought trading CP3 was impossible after OKC got him, let alone trading him for assets. We could do the same thing with Wall, it would take some balls to make that move but it could be game changing for us if the lotto balls work out and Wall plays well enough to trade after a year.

Think about it like this.... Knicks have all the bench pieces already.... Paying Dj 7 mil when we want Dsj and Frank to play those minutes is just noy what we need.

Big difference is cp3 was still good wall is coming back from a major injury thers no telling if he's good anymore

Do we really want 40 mill in dead cap what if obi or RJ become stars we couldn't add anyone else bkuz we gotta pay mitch and frank soon just a horrible move unless we get 2 unprotected 1st which isn't happening

Dunn just signed for 2 years/$10M, I don’t see Frank getting some big payday unless there’s some massive breakout these next 2 years.
