Do you not understand what a HS draft means ? You’ll have all the 2022 1 and dones and all the Hs stars that would normally have to play 1 year somewhere eligible to be drafted. So in theory you’ll have a ton of guys in that one draft. It’s gonna be a crazy draft

Sure, they have Young but that’s not why those guys ended up signing in Atlanta. They offered the most $ to guys like Gallo, Bogdanovic, Rondo, etc. At some point, we have to push towards acquiring talent that fits our roster instead of waiting for some max FA to come and save us. If we are winning, we’ll be a more attractive destination. If we are winning, the “culture” will start to change. There are always way to make the #’s work from a financial standpoint.

Are we already forgetting about the last 2 or 3 offseason where they did absolutely nothing and that coach Bud left because they were blatantly tanking? They got their star in the draft and now they are building.

I agree that there are some things the Knicks can do in between, but going all out like that will have them being like Charlotte and Detroit instead. Trae Young is the reason why it all makes sense.
