Randle is like Zion, but without the explosive vertical athleticism and body mass. Which basically means that he sucks lol

Randle is explosive just not as athletic as Zion. They are also built alike but Zion's IQ and defense is better than Randle's.

Randle wanted to prove to everyone that he could carry this team and was asked to play out of character. In New Orleans the year before they never asked him to do what Fiz asked him to do and the only reason they let him walk in FA because they knew he was going to get paid and they drafted Zion in the draft.

Julius has literally been traded for LeBron and Zion in his career. Not bad. The Knicks FO is smart enough to know he will be good with structure. Obi or any rookie needs a vet to take the pressure off of him.

Only way I trade Randle is to Charlotte for Graham in a deal to relieve them of the Batum contract. Otherwise let him play out this season to see what he can really do. I also think Obi is quick enough to play the 3 some depending on the matchup.

If you had a competent PG there would be no need to even consider Frank, Rivers, or Quickly playing out of position at PG.

Yeah true I’m not saying he wouldn’t help but I doubt he comes in and is already better than some of our guys. Who knows though never even seen much of him tbh

I think he look healthier at the end with Washington. If he was anywhere near healthy he would make us play much faster and provide spacing. You’d probably also have to give him real starters minutes. You can get away with platooning Payton with someone even if that someone isn’t producing. IT might be a little too good with a little too much pride for that set up
