Haven’t really looked at him much at all, but I love the pick! Dude looks like a pure sniper.
Really savvy GM work here by Rose.
I like this pick.
Meh, but we’ll see. A reach due to relationships is my initial thought.
This is a total Scott Perry pick.
They trade up and draft the sharp shooting big Euro guard and trade down...then they pick this kid cause he was coached by Calipari.
R. Hampton was right there..
Knicks better surprise me in the second round.
Holy crap, before any negative reply’s please go watch his highlight feel on youtube, this kid is filthy shooter...... I mean FILTHY.....
And the best part is he’s not even just a catch and shoot sniper this kid can create his own 3 point shot, and he plays defense !!!!
Just saying He’s looks like the real deal and he’s shooting from distance beyond the 3 multiple times, step back 3’s, quick jump stop 3’s , and straight eyeing defenders.
Don’t sleep and hate on this kid he’s exactly what we needed.
And we will be getting van fleet so don’t worry, we didn’t draft a pg for a reason

So the Knicks essentially traded 27 and 38th picks for 25 and 33rd picks. I'm liking this GM already
Tyler Herro 2.0
Admittedly I did not do much research on Quickley before the draft, but this guy is exactly what we needed to space the floor. Definitely has enough size and length to play the 2 if needed in today’s NBA.
6'2" but 6'8" wingspan
Knicks now have a pure shooter that can defend
I think with the development coaches we have he could project to become a really good scorer on and off the ball.
92% from free throw line, knock down 3 pt shooter, and has a really good floater. Hes elite in 3 of the main areas needed to be a real good scorer already. He also was Kentucky's top defender, even over maxey.
Yeah his shot is really pure and he has excellent footwork. He could stand to get a little stronger so he can finish better inside. But he got to the FT line a good amount which is encouraging. He doesn’t really solve our PG issues as I see him as more of a 2, but the playmaking could come with time potentially.
