I kinda defended the trade at the time thinking Diaz would be a real prize.

Oops. Can Cano be released now to save more money or do we still owe the rest of the contract outside of this coming season?

Kelenic for what Díaz was wasn’t a horrible move...still didn’t love it, but would have been OK because of need and you have to give up something to get something

That’s what I’d like to know, can we void his contract?

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Mets attempted to somehow void his contract but who knows.

    Would definitely release him, though.

Mariners must be laughing on how they owned Brodie. Thank God Cohen is owning the team otherwise this would have been awful. At least now we have even more money to spend and McNeil can go back to second. God I just wish we had Cohen in 2018. Kelenic probably would still be here

The Bauer, Springer & Realmuto signings are closer to a reality.

Any chance we could void the rest of his contract?

Canó positive test was for Stanozolol

    Now that's funny.

Trading for Arenado or Bryant suddenly seems a lot more attainable, as does taking on a bad contract such as Kimbrel.

Alternatively, get me DJ and Bauer and I’ll be happy.

Best news ever for the Mets. Cohen must be laughing so hard he is crying. Now let the spending begin.

Sandy is probably lecturing Stevie on why you don't ****ing trade for an aging player caught using steroids. Because if it happened once, it will happen again.
