    Warriors/Spurs/Hawks Trade Rumors

There have been rumors of Aldridge to Warriors for over a week now, but the latest news is a three team trade involving the Hawks.

    https://airalamo.com/2020/11/14/san-...awks-warriors/

    Warriors Out: Wiggins, #2
    Warriors In: Aldridge, #6

    Spurs out: Aldridge, Derozan, #11
    Spurs In: Wiggins, Reddish, #2

    Hawks Out: Reddish, #6
    Hawks In: Derozan, #11

    What do you think?

Seems like just making a trade for trade sake.

Pretty decent for all sides, but yeah, SAS gets the best of it. Two expiring guys they have no plans to keep at all to move up to the 2nd overall.

But I like it most for the Warriors if I was their GM. Get out from Wiggins and can still draft a player for the future. You easily take Devin Vassel at 6.

Curry, Klay, Vassel, Green, Aldridge. Definitely a contender easily.

The warriors donít want to get out of Wiggins. This is foolish and keeps getting posted in the media by short sided people. Warriors need his cap hold to target a top player. Losing it gets them nothing. LA isnít a good fit. They wonít trade n2 to just get out of Wiggins.

Iíd def consider trading 2 to the hawks for 6 and reddish.

I agree. If all they wanted was a salary dump it would have been easier to keep Russell who's way more tradeable.

But everyone else seems to think that if they keep Wiggins they are conceding it to be a transition season wasting a year of Steph's prime. So I like the trade in the fact that Aldridge is better for next year in helping them contend.

This is silly. Aldridge is still a decent player but his value is far from Wiggins + Reddish + a move up to 2. I'm not sure DeRozan even has trade value with that contract. I can see Atlanta taking DeRozan off the Spurs hands though. I doubt he'd even bring back Reddish unless the Spurs take Dedmon.

The only team that would want that deal is the Spurs.

I'm curious why people don't like it for the Hawks? Can't they do what the Mavs did and make the leap this year?

    Trae - Derozan - Hunter - Collins - Capela

    That's a nice mix of offense/defense.

Reddish and #6 for DeRozan and #11 seems like a lateral move at best when age and money are taken into account.
