They're gonna be stuck taking back something like that because of the cap figure CP3 makes. There's not really a team that can do it without sending something like that back.

Green and the 28th pick, for Schroder ?? Thats a great deal for the Lakers. I thought maybe Schroder could net OKC more in a trade.
Same here, it was my biggest worry that OKC would settle. Maybe trying to **** the Clips and Rockets morale

Oh I know. I just think they are going to try to find someone else to take back on a 2 year deal(not sure if that person even exists really) first if they can. Horford on the 3 year isnt bad since the yearly salary is lower its easier to move smaller pieces down the road.

Lakers have themselves a point guard and now that they do, they do not need Rondo or KCP

Was never a doubt, and had nothing to do with giving Ibaka the mid level. Like it didnít matter if you talked about Ibaka first because this was a trade and Ibaka would be a free agent pickup so...

I'd take the combo of Danny Green and CP3 in this deal for Milton, Richardson, Horford, Smith, 21, 2022 1st.
That was my thought as well.

Since when did KCP play point? Last time I checked he was very clearly a 2 guard who played off ball, more of a 3 and D specialist. I think he still serves a purpose, especially with Green gone.

Yeah, for me you still want to keep KCP and Rondo but are now free to lose Avery Bradley. If Avery Opts out fine. If Avery opts in, trade him away for a package since he didnít want to show up for the bubble and also wants to explore his opt out options. If Iím the Lakers, Avery isnít coming back to this team.

Nice pick up for LA. Seems likely Rondo is on his way out and Lakers know it.

I like Schroder. Definitely an upgrade for LA.

Schroder is a massive upgrade anyway so it doesn't even matter
