If Seattle offeres a 3rd or 4th for either WR, it's a done deal.

Still think GB is the fav though

That was a heck of a game.
Highlighting both the best and worse of Sam Darnold as a QB.

Of course, go steelers… gotta rack up the Ls while wilson is on IR. Every seattle L is a W for gang green.

Darnold looked like **** again too. He's proving the people who stood up for him during his time as a Jet very wrong. Myself included.

Also still misses open receivers and isn't consistently accurate.

Even in the game vs the Jets, we saw a bunch of those misses. Carolina could have been up much more than they were if he had been accurate. I still hope he figures it out and becomes a solid QB. I never felt he would be a star but I though a good, solid, middle of the road, QB

Nice read. It's certainly Rah-rah but I really like Saleh and I do think there is validity to his comments.

Darnold showed a lot of potential this year and he's still very young.

He needs time and patience which are two things you don't have the luxury of getting in the NFL.
Sam has already gotten four years, which is more than most.
He obviously still has instances when he doesn't see what he should and he also has instances where he loses his mechanics.

I've always felt that if football had a minor leagues, a lot of late bloomer types could go on to have stellar pro careers. Darnold, to me, would fall into that category.

I remember the old USFL. They signed a bunch of guys who were cut by the NFL, but after a couple of years in the USFL. they matured and when the league folded, went on to have nice NFL careers. Some guys just need more time to figure things out.

What Darnold needed was to not be rushed into starting right away as a rookie, and learn the game from the sidelines behind a veteran like Teddy Bridgewater.

Too bad the Jets didn't have a guy like Teddy...oh.
