Hahahahahaha trust this organization...are you for real? I bet you're probably triple vax'd and boosted. And yeah, because that went so well listening to Manning about Gase. His success was a medicore season in Jax and he wasn't even calling the plays in GB, except for the red zone, which they weren't even bad in until 2021 when they still had all the same players and personnel. Nothing had changed. Then he was a complete disaster in Denver when he was running the entire offense himself. And Rodgers "likes" him because of the Austin Powers Gold Member movie and the Gold reference for the Gold Zone. These quotes in this article are ridiculous.

I can just picture how this actually goes down...

"I really love playing for Hackett, he's a great coach"

    "What makes him so great?"

    "We like the same movies"

Brady officially retired...again. The pool grows smaller and more competitive by the day now.

My comment was more about where Brady would end up. I still think he could, even after his retirement.
If Brady or Jimmy G were QBing, it is a very different game. I think SF could have kept it close enough to win but the Eagles are really, really nasty good. I hope they destroy the Chiefs.

This Super Bowl is the 1st Super Bowl of the New Generation QBs.

I do like Mahomes, but I really think Hurts is a great story.
I'd like to see him get a ring.

    Should be a good game.

Actually you're the clown as I'm pointing out your blind faith and trust in an organization that has shown for over 50 years that they don't have a ****ing clue and shouldn't be trusted. Hence my comment betting that you glady went and got the shot like the sheep you are. Because if you're trusting the Jets to make the right decisions then you'll trust anything.

I was hoping for another Burrow-Hurts, matchup.

Not only that, but it was followed by the sad attempt at a double down

Wonder how the Brady retirement affects the QB market? Now that a future HOFer has called it quits, I have to believe other teams step up their pursuit on Rodgers if, in fact, the Packers trade him. Might cost more for the Jets to make that move.

The 49ers might not be as quick to move on from Jimmy G either (if they have the cap space) now that Brock Purdy is done for the 2023 season with the torn UCL.

I wish I could get vaccinated from this topic of conversation.... At this stage, it looks like its going to be a very long off-season in this forum!

It's nuts. You wouldn't think the injury of a 3rd string QB known as Mr Irrelevant, could have such a ripple effect.

I agree. The price for Rodgers just jumped a bit if they trade him.

To me, he's not the way to go. Rodgers is not going to be the FQB. Unless you are legitimately convinced and confident as hell, that ZW can truly change, Rodgers is a 2-3 year, "fix", at best. He may be less, if his performance drops significantly.

I do think Brady could come out of retirement for the right offer but if that doesn't happen? It's looks like Carr or bust.
I won't rule out Jimmy G because he's a free agent and he might feel like SF hosed him by drafting and starting Lance.
Then again, he may see a similar scenario with the Jets.
Next up after Carr and Jimmy?
    Brissett? Henne?

    Dom't be a sheep.

The longer aspect will be the QB issue. The pickins will be slim and there will tons of competition.
I don't know if they try to trade up?
Personally, I'd rather they trade back and acquire more assets and see if they can really fix the line. If they do, I think they can be very competitive .

    Intersting

Kyle Shanahan doesn’t see “any scenario” where Jimmy Garoppolo returns

Carr, Jimmy G should still be in play
