Lets go! I love this signing. We couldn’t afford to come away with trash like Perriman again. Davis will be 26 next season and still has more upside left, but at worst he’s a solid #2 WR. He got less APY than I expected honestly, this is a good deal for us.

A tad expensive, but I think that came from the value of his age
I didn’t love any of the FA WRs, but Davis was one of the more intriguing ones

He’s a lot like Lawson, high potential now that they’ve spent some time in the league and hopefully are going to flip that switch to stardom like Shaq Barrett or Bud Dupree or Devante Parker

My biggest concern besides him not turning the corner, he sucks in the playoffs and outside of 5 games, he was awfully quiet. I’m hoping that is more of a Derrick Henry consuming the offense thing..but then again shouldn’t he be open all the time because Henry earned the interest of all 11 defenders? Probably why Davis was so efficient

Definitely a boom or bust signing

Nice signing. We have some big strong WRs on the outside with Crowder in the slot.

    Signing is a Meh!.

Jets need a WR1, Davis is not that.
However he was a bit cheaper than expected and a slight upgrade from starting Perriman.

If Mims and Davis are starting wideouts, then the Jets need a slot WR that can stretch the field for the bigs.
    Unfortunately, that's not Crowder's strength.

Agreed with above all. Would kill it more if terms were worse..but I too would now be intrigued with adding Curtis Samuel for slot and backfield duties ..in the aiyiluk role..I wasn't gung-ho for his a #1 wr target just like c.davis..BUT..combined..could make the wr corp. Very formidable..if the price is right..
