No, he wouldn't, now you are using Special's line of defense of "assuming their candidate is no worse than others'' You have no past Bernie's policies or deed to basic that accusation. In politics, one fails upward, and Biden rode to the top on his fail policies and being one of the boys. THUS MAKING HIM MORE ELECTABLE.

Your original post is so milked toast and weak. No wonder we can't get rid of these corrupt guys.

I don't really see that strong a condemnation from Bernie on this one. This just looks like a fill in the blank for a bare minimum, phoning it in response.

Better than phoning the jets to bomb, thus escalating conflict in the area. Why is he the bad guy here? Got a warmonger fetish?

Why do progressives like Ro Khanna want the COVID bill to not pass? He wants them to overrule the parliamentarian and thereby lose the votes of Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. And thereby the vote fails 48-52. Purists who are fine with nothing happening so long as they can talk about all the stuff they would love to happen are why people think Democrats can't govern.

Get this COVID relief bill passed and signed into law and then put up a stand alone bill to raise the minimum wage to $15.

It was over removing the $15 dollar mandate from the bill if I do believe. You know and I know if it was a stand-alone bill it wouldn't pass Congress under the regular 60 vote requirement. Special consideration was used to allow the stimulus bill to be pass with a simple majority.

The tactic of sticking a policy that wouldn't pass with something that will pass is an old trick that congress has used to pass horrendous publicly unfavorable policies in the past. For once it uses to help those who need it the most.

Purists? What or who is a Purist in this case? A large percentage of Americans are for hiking up the min. wage. It seems only a few voters, the republicans, and moderates elected officials are against it.

Now you are going to blame the Democrat's reputation as the do-nothing party on the Progressive. Bo, the reason people are gravitating to a socialist-Democrat, gang of four, and progressives is that the moderates who ruled the democrat party for decades did such a crappy job of governing. Need us to list the fail policies they supported, that Bernie and the left fought against?

Sounding more and more like Special when you defend the moderates.

OMG overruling the parliamentarian is so stupid. The far left is really going off the rails. They aren't going to make progress if they keep acting like this.

Joyous news to me. We aren't making progress with the min wage hike so what do they have to lose? Besides if they lose or win, at least they got some gotta damn fight in them. It won't hurt their chances to increase their support and shows that the moderate will find any excuse to not do something that is publicly supported.

2018 under Trump: We must change our criminal justice system and hold cops accountable. Killing unarm blacks must stop

2021 under Biden, who is going to be very hands-off on policing policies: Back to the "those poor Blacks, isn't it a shame" mantra of the Clinton and Obama days when nothing was done to correct the problem.

2018 under Trump: We must end the endless wars and pull back

2021 under Biden, after bombing Syria: Bernie would have done it to

2018 under Trump: We got to get big business out of government

2021 under Biden, placed Vilsack up for the agriculture secretary post:

I really enjoyed watching the moderate hopping on and off policies to suit Biden and the DNC. Let's make it easier for them to continuing doing the same old same old song.

Biden pushing Vilisack also hurt environmental policies concerning big business practices.

LOLOLOL. Over the last few decades, I have seen politicians do just that in pushing for policies that were corrosive to the American public. Lies, half-truths, hiding policies in bills. What world are you from, dude?
