The Las Vegas Raiders have been fined $500,000 and stripped of a sixth-round pick in the 2021 draft and coach Jon Gruden has been fined an additional $150,000 by the NFL for what one source described to ESPN as "brazen and repeated violations of [COVID-19] protocols."

Jon had Covid, was probably asymptomatic and probably now thinks that he's bulletproof. He hasn't realized yet that the League has the power to not only take draft picks and impose fines, but they can suspend him or force the team to forfeit games if he continues to skirt League policy. Mark needs to read him the riot act and don't let him back in the locker room or in meetings until he gets a frikkin clue.

Regardless: I feel pretty good about this game.

If the Raiders can fight through and get to 5-3, they'll be in good shape to make a playoff push.

I get it, but this isn’t all on him. I’m sure what they are referring to is Trent Brown and Abram being out with no masks after they were warned about Wallers charity dinner. Then Brown tests positive and wasn’t wearing his contract tracer.

Seems harsh because it seems like half the teams in the league have had cases this week, but on the other hand, they have been warned and fined before and NFL feels they have to make an example of someone.

Gruden for his part looks like he has been doing better with the mask.

Not saying he has no blame, just not solely.
