My guess, either Lamar Jackson or Javelin Guidry.
Maybe Ballentine, Jets just picked him up a week ago.

The other CBs like Maulett, Hall and Austin are really more outside CBs.

Yea I think Guidry will get the first crack with Bless & Hall on the outside, both of which Id love as our corners for the future. But I think Bless is more of a depth guy than a guy who can be a top guy. Hall well see

I think Bless is a CB2 and/or future Safety in the league.
His coverage is ok, needs refinement but is ok.
BUT rarely have I seen a CB that lays the hit stick like he does.

There have been good tackling CBs (Revis, James Hasty (remember him)) but Bless Austin brings some serious 'umph'.

Looking forward to seeing what Hall will do, kudos to the Jets for giving the young guys a chance.
Now give Ty Johnson a chance too.

Yea basically exactly how I feel about him. He brings the wood but he doesnt seem great in coverage as a corner. Maybe he does move to S at some point because I do like him as a player

As I truly believe, the last 7 games should be all about evaluation. There is absolutely no reason for guys like Henry Anderson, Frank Gore, Joe Flacco, Bradley McDougald to EVER see the field again for the NY Jets this season when it is clear they are not part of the future. The next 7 games should be based on the following players:

    La'Michal Perine
    Ty Johnson
    Vyncent Smith
    Cameron Clark
    Bryce Huff
    Bryce Hall
    Javelyn Guidry
    Lamar Jackson
    Jabari Zuniga
    Ashytn Davis
    James Morgan
    Pat Elflein
    John Franklin Myers
    Foley Fatukasi
    Harvey Langi
    Corey Ballentine

Let's find out what we have; maybe there are a few starters in that group of players!

100%. That's why I find it so annoying that Flacco is starting. Give Morgan some burn. Hopefully they do at some point.

Agreed, however, I do want McDougal to play, he may be a part of the team's future plans as well.
