They didn't have Edleman or Gilmour yesterday. I think if they'd had both they would have won that game.

The Jets D is solid, so Cam isn't going to be able to do crap.

If I'm Sam, I sit the rest of the season. I know he's a team guy who wants to play but the Jets don't deserve that type of loyalty. Clearly he isn't part of their long term plans and they've done nothing but hinder his development. He should be in the business of protecting himself and his future at this point.

It’s definitely worrying. Every non competitive loss we take and he sticks around I wonder if our idiot owner will actually keep him next year and I’d like to see him fired now just to have that not be a possibility but then again keeping him is our best shot at at losing

I think Chris Johnson knows the best way to secure the #1 pick is with Gase being the coach. I’ve never seen a team so unprepared every single week

Yesterday, Mahomes threw 5 passing TDs in 1 game.
The Jets have a total of 4 passing TDs all year.

It being half way through the season makes this incredibly impressive. Part of me hopes we get shut out the rest of the season

So if you say Cam sucks and he's been better than Sam, then doesn't that make Sam suckier by comparison.

You never know what he really is until you let him take some actual snaps.
Besides, I think most of us can take a loss better knowing that at least they're trying to give playing time to young talent and evaluate their progress for next year.

Sam should absolutely get fully healed. There is a very important logic and it is a hash reality.
This is the Jets. They will not get the number 1 pick. They will surely f' it up. They will win 3 and mill out on both Fields and TL, so Sam will be the Jets QB next year and going forward.

Oh yeah, and The Pats and Giants will get those two QBs

There is, right now, absolutely no reason to waste any more time with guys like Joe Flacco, Frank Gore, Pierre Desir, Quincy Wilson, Henry Anderson when we all know that they are not going to be here next season.

Yea all those guys you mentioned needs to get phased out almost entirely. And I’d like to add Shepherd to that list too, I know he’s young-ish but he’s not good. I’d rather rotate the line with just Q, Foley, JFM & Phillips. Anderson can get the scraps when someone needs a breather but should not be starting or seeing close to 50% time.

Davis should continue starting though since McDougald is on IR now

Agreed, although I do think Desir has played much better after a rough start to the season.
With a passrush, he'd be a very interesting CB to watch.

It may not be a popular statement but I hope he's here next year.

Also, now that Mims is back, can we please target him more than 3 times in a game.
He's shown potential, but what good is that potential if we stop giving him playmaking opportunities.
