I really liked what Elton Brand was doing with the team. Hopefully Morey will stay out of the transaction side of things.

Great move... They also will have a greater chance to get harden when he becomes a free agent.

    Smart move. Brand was trash.

Somehow I doubt Rivers would have been his hire though. The dynamic still seems off, not sure they will go as far as they would immediately without an adjustment phase.

I think Morey will make a hard push for Harden

I also don't think he would have hired Doc. He'll be kept on a short lease imo

This tells you the team never got over the forced Hinkie breakup.

    Good hire.

Buddy Hield is a damn near lock to get traded to Philly now.

Bro, 76ers about to go ham with trades/signings [emoji23]

Love the hire! He's going to be able to build around those 2 or he'll move one, that simple.

As long as he can trade Horford for anything - top priority! What a waste of space. He's so washed up he doesn't need to shower [emoji371] after a game.

Keep Simmons and Embiid together for 1 season at least to see if Doc can turn them into the dominant combo like Hardaway and Shaq was in Orlando.

Tobias needs to stay as Doc will turn him into the unstoppable MVP player that he was on the Clippers. Brown misused him like a clueless coach he has always been [emoji1751]

Yeah, don't really get this. Brand is in charge, Doc is the coach, but Morey builds the team?

Brand may end up being the de facto puppet for Morey unless he wants his walking papers after keeping Brown a few seasons too long plus the Horford signing [emoji1751]

Brown would've misused MJ, Bron, Kobe and just about any anybody.
He had no idea how to coach talent.
