I thought you liked big money juggernauts. The Dodgers are doing this for all the large payroll bullies out there. Yankees, RedSox, Giants, Cubs. This win is for them.

If these were the late-1970's or early-1980's, I could definitely understand why Yankees fans would hate us. But today?

I also picked Dodgers/Rays as my choice in 2008, but that didn't work out.

Dodgers and Astros for two reasons.

1. The Astros bats have woken up at the right time, and they have just enough starting pitching and just enough bullpen arms to win it in seven. (No justification really needed for the Dodgers.)

2. Because it's ****ing 2020, everything in this year has been sheer chaos and it just feels like the biggest MLB storyline of this year in MLB needs to play itself out. The Dodgers want the rings they feel were stolen. The Astros want to prove they earned it the first time. Who doesn't want to watch that?

The Yankees are the only cash cow team I like. Rarely ever root for any other big money/popular teams even when my team is out. Only way I'd root for the Dodgers is if they were playing the Red Sox.
Lakers can F off. I'd be fine w them going 0-82 every year. Cowboys, Packers, Celtics, Patriots, etc. Any of those teams that are super popular, F em. Except the Yankees.
