Why are you assuming nobody here has watched footage of these series?

Well you’d be wrong. Personally, I have seen nearly the entire series for most of those:

    Magic vs Rockets Finals
    Knicks vs Rockets Finals
    Spurs vs Rockets WCF
    Suns vs Rockets Semis
    Jazz vs Rockets WCF

About the only one I have seen in its entirety is the Jazz/Rockets 1st Round series in 98.

I bet many other posters here have seen most of those series, many of them were fairly iconic historically.

And you are okay with comparing Karl Malone and Charles Barkley performance to that of Hakeem, in a thread that is titled "best fight" as if there was some kind of duel?

Why not? What makes the other examples any more or less of a duel? Did you even watch those series?

You need to read the definition of a duel.

Without looking at the stats, I always remember Shawn Kemp being the best defender of Hakeem. Couldn't match him offensively, but was a reason Houston struggled against Seattle in those years

Shaq vs dream were good matchups on both ends
