FA WR Antonio Brown & The Tampa Bay Buccaneers reach an agreement

Update: Antonio Brown and the Buccaneers have reached agreement on a one-year deal, per sources.

Language still has to be finalized, COVID protocols passed, but Brown is likely to make his Bucsí debut in Week 9 against the Saints.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

I don't think its even close imo.

Manning had high picks but he was a big reason for the players success, and none of them ever did anything outside of Indy(because their entire careers were in indy)

    Yes they invested high picks.

But I still think Manning made them, even Marvin Harrison. I think Peyton was that special.

He never got Randy Moss after he developed, Josh Gordon, Antonio Brown, Gronk, Corey Dillon (ok he did have Edge who had a better overall career for sure), I just think Brady was more of a guy that fit a system and excelled where Peyton WAS the system. He was the reason it excelled.

I know these opinions are going to be looked down upon and I embrace that [emoji2]

Brady basically had Gronk thatís it. Brown for like 2 ganes. I donít even remember Gordon on the Pats. Dillons best years were in Cinci. Moss for like 3 seasons.

Peyton had Harrison, Wayne, Edge, Thomas, and Sanders (Iíll even throw in Adai or however you spell it) and he normally has pretty top end OL. Those are a lot better when you add the talent and the years together compared to what Brady had.

I definitely think Peyton made some players as well too though like his TEs m, GarÁon, Stokely, Collie, etc.

Brady had excellent coaching with a normally good defense and oline. Outside of Gronk and then a few seasons here and there with the aforementioned players, Brady was trotting out there with Amendolas, Edelman, and Welkers. While good, if youíre saying Peyton made Harrison (lol) then Brady definitely made these guys.

I still think Manning is elite but comparing talent, I think Manning had more than Brady.

Iíll say Kurt Warner is another who had more talent than Brady through their careers. Matt Ryan too.

Brady's teams had far more overall talent... Especially defensively. Not to mention that his head coach was FAR better than anything Manning ever had.

If we're talking about overall talent and not just skill players, Brady has easily had the most around him for his entire career.

I mean, he just bailed on that franchise for not giving him any weapons. His last SB run he had a declining Gronk, Edelman, and ?????. He's definitely had guys over his career who fit their system well (Welker, Edelman, Amendola, Branch, Brown) but weren't necessarily great receivers. He's had pretty consistent solid-to-great OLs, but pretty weak in the weapons group.

I said it last year and it's blatantly obvious this year: the "Brady is declining" talk of 2019 can be directly tied to how bad his WRs/TEs were and his OL being injured. If you watch film from 2019, Brady was making several great throws that showed he still had plenty left in the tank, but his young/incompetent weapons just weren't capable and Edelman was old and banged up.

Brady hasn't had this kind of talent since possibly 2007. The only other comparable offense he's had is probably 2011 when they had Gronk/Welker/Branch/Edelman/Hernandez accounting for 4750 receiving yards and almost 30 TDs.
